INDIA

3 years ago, I set out on a journey that would forever change me.

In November & December of 2017, I was called to the Mother Land: INDIA.

I spent just a few days shy of a month both traveling in a group and solo, all while navigating through a new moon, full moon, and a Mercury Retrograde.

I ate, prayed, and loved. I also cried, laughed, sang, danced, screamed, and more.

I’m going to share it all with you.

I've tried to write about my journey before, on other platforms, but I've always stopped. It never seemed the right place or right time.  Although I have the story in my travel journal, I wanted it to share it publicly where it would remain permanent.  It has taken me until now to house these stories in the place where they are meant to be.  The timing is right now, too, for I was far too emotional during my pregnancy loss-grief, then actual pregnancy, then postpartum stage to recall my journey. Some of the memories are not easy to remember, but I feel it’s important to tell you EVERYTHING, because it has all molded me to be who and where I am today.

Starting with this day of Diwali, a time when we shine our light in the darkness, I’ll be sharing excerpts from my travel journal and reflections on my entire Indian journey.

I feel like it’s time.

As the new moon calls me to give life to the past, and Scorpio season brings up all of my shadows and memories, I thank you in advance for holding space.

Writing has always been my therapy.
